SS-Stuart Scott
KH-Kyle Hinch
SS- Welcome Everyone. Today we have a very special guest and his name his Kyle Hinch. Lets give him a big welcome.
KH- Thank you all.
SS- Well, How are you doing today?
KH- Good. Alittle excited about the upcoming draft. I cant wait man. Im hoping to get picked first round but i dont know theres alot of guys out there who are pretty good.
SS- Who would u classify as pretty good?
KH- Kisney Lopes and of course Andy Koller. Koller and Lopes really suprised me and i didnt think they would be the two in the spotlight allready but they are.
SS- So what team would you love to play for?
KH- Nashville or Indiana. Two great owners and one of them pretty close to where i live. Nashville would be a cool place to play at and Indiana would be awesome to play their and maybe even play Reggie Miller.
SS- Growing up who was your idol?
KH- I really didnt have a idol but i did grow up watching Jason Kidd, Steve Francis, Mike Bibby, etc.: But really i looked up to Jason Kidd. He was the all around man. I hope to be just like him when i start this league.
SS- In Highschool, you where ranked pretty high up in the ranks. I think the 3rd best point guard in the state?
KH- No. 2nd best point guard in the state. (laughs)
SS- Did you feel like u had alot of pressure on your shoulder being the number 2 point guard in the state and also being the leader of ur team?
KH- I had alot of pressure but i had team work to back it up. So i carried them as long as i could and then i would let them do the rest. I mean i would put them up by so many and then sit for awhile and i could trust them with my team. But yes i had alot of pressure but no to much.
SS- So if you got picked Number 1, Would you feel like you had alot of pressure on ur shoulder?
KH- Yes, I would. I mean i would get picked for number 1 for a reason. I mean i would feel pretty bad if i went out there and scored 10 ppg, 5 apg, and 2 rpg. I would be really stressed out. But i know i could handle the pressure because my first year in Highschool they expected me to lead them to the promise land, Did I? Yes, i did and i had alot of pressure on me.
SS- With you missing college coming straight to the WWBSL, Do that hurt you any way? Because Sport Reviews said you should have went to college.
KH- I know what they say. But i cant help what they think. I believe i have the strength and everything i need for a career in the WWBSL. I know how much harder i will have to work. So im ready for anything to come my way.
SS- Tomorrow is the big draft day. When do you see yourself going?
KH- Im gonna say the 1-2 Rounds. I have what a team wants and they better recoginze who i am. If any of these team pass me up then they are just plain stupid. Im a great point guard ready to shine as soon as possible.
SS- Last Question. Who will be your toughest oppoent in the WWBSL?
KH- Im gonna have to say Nick Miller on this one. Hes a tough kid and hes ready to stand out just like me. If he keeps working on his defense this kid could be the next Michael Jordan.(laughs)
SS- Thanks for stopping by.
KH- Thanks for having me.
SS- Thats it until tomorrow. Have a good day and god bless. Also, Dont forget to watch Kyle get selected Number 1, (laughs)
